Our Kindergarten class has been thriving this year.  They have a full schedule of learning and fun-filled activities. One of their favorite times of the day is their Project Based Learning time.  This is a student-led time where children are working to develop and deepen their knowledge of something that has sparked their interest.  During the Project Based Learning block of the day, students are exploring new ideas and sharing discoveries of real world challenges, problems, or concepts. wirtualne zaklady sportowe  Each month, through research and discussion, Kindergarteners have the opportunity to be problem solvers and critical thinkers as they navigate their learning!

For Kindergarten’s most resent Project Based Learning activity, they traveled through the world of outer space. totolotek zaklady sportowe Each Kindergartener learned about an individual planet and defined their planet’s physical characteristics, individual properties, and their part in the solar system. Kindergarteners then created an individual 3D model of their planet!   They traveled to every planet as each student proudly presented their planet model and shared what they discovered in their time researching.  The class also explored things in outer space such as galaxies, constellations, asteroids, meteors, and comets. Kindergarten absolutely loved taking charge of their learning and diving deep into the study of planets and outer space!
