Ms. Angela grew up in a native Spanish-speaking household. Up until preschool, the only language she held as her own was Spanish. At age 3, she was taken to Colombia for the first time for the holidays. It opened up a completely new world that Angela had never experienced before and led her to a growing curiosity of other languages and cultures. As she got older, her love for language grew and she went on to study Italian in college and spent time in Brazil where she learned conversational Portuguese. Angela graduated from Montgomery College with an Associates of Art in Psychology and a certificate in Education.  From a young age, Angela has always loved working with children and loves being able to combine this with her love for language at Whole Kids Academy! She shares that her favorite children’s book is Goodnight Moon because it brings back fond childhood memories of reading before bedtime.

Angela has been at Whole Kids since 2017! She shares that she loves working at Whole Kids because she is passionate about always looking for new ways to help her students fall in love with learning each day.
