Ms. Betty is from Limu, Peru. When she moved to the United States, she spent time in the bilingual department of the child support program with the state of Maryland. As a mother, she’s always loved learning with her own children and feels very fortunate to be able to share her passion for learning with our students at WKA! In her free time, Betty loves spending time with her family and going on walks with their dog. She also teaches in the children’s ministry at her church, where she has the opportunity to work with many children of different ages. Betty’s favorite children’s book is Green Eggs and Ham, because of the colorful illustrations and expressions, and Gorillita, because of the teaching about coexistence between animals.

Betty has been with our school since 2019! She shares that her favorite part about working at Whole Kids is the connection with our children and the other teachers.
