Last week, we capped off our Hispanic Heritage month celebrations with an assembly! It was an amazing time, filled with song, dance, and food. The assembly started with reading a story to the kids, and was followed by a series of acts from teachers and students! Teachers performed traditional dances for the kids. Each class had a chance to perform for their peers too! Classes sang songs, danced, or performed with musical instruments they made. Each class made a food stand, and served pupusas to the rest of the school after the assembly. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
