Silvia Totti

Teacher

Ms. Silvia received her degree in Social Communication from the Bolivian Catholic University. After moving to the United States in 2000, Silvia briefly worked in radio before she was inspired to begin a career working with children. Although she was only scheduled to stay in the US for one year, she has stayed ever since, now with over 15 years of experience in early childhood education! Silvia obtained her Child Development Associate Credential, the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education, and loves using her knowledge to best teach our children at Whole Kids! Silvia enjoys being a teacher because she can be a positive role model and finds that watching young children grow as they speak and learn more than one language is priceless. Outside of work, she loves to write, travel, and spend time with her family and friends, especially her daughters, Nicole and Alexandra. Silvia’s favorite children’s book is Love You Forever because it tells the beautiful story of a little boy whose mother cares for him with lots of love and dedication. She shares that as a mom herself, she knows that parental love never ends and lasts for generations!

Silvia has been at Whole Kids since 2017 and shares that she loves working at WKA because of the warm community, the support and trust, the opportunities to grow and create, and of course, getting to share her language and culture with our little ones.
